B arts Studio
The Studio is our team of dedicated makers!
We respond to build-focussed art commissions, manage existing theatre assets, and handle the production needs of the rest of the company.
We build sets, sculptures, lanterns and and giant puppets; we make props and costumes; and we work with a diverse team of associate artists and volunteers to deliver high quality artwork and performances.
B Arts Studio is led by Associate Artists Dan Higgs and Richard Redwin.

Free Lantern Masterclass
At B arts 72 Hartshill Road, ST4 7RB
Thursday 25th, Friday 26th, Saturday 27th January 2024, 10am-6pm daily
Join B arts Studio in a 3-day masterclass to design and make a large scale sculptural feature lantern. Participants will learn to design and make 1 large scale lantern with moving element. Including design, mechanisms, sculpture.
The masterclass is for people aged 18+. You can book for part or all of the masterclass workshops
ArtCity Radio
What is ArtCity Radio ?
It is a new podcast coming to the city. With content chosen by YOU! With help from B arts, and other arts companies based in the area.
What is a podcast?
A podcast is like a radio show; a digital audio or video file available on your smartphone, tablet smart speaker, computer, or laptop, on demand.
What is is about?
Stoke is an Art City! We want to celebrate the arts and culture that happens here in all its forms. We want to share unknown stories, and we want to make programmes you want to hear.

Wonder Women
One of our on-going groups is Wonder Women, a very diverse group of women who meet to do creative stuff together for our sense of wellbeing. We get involved in arts projects across the city and meet every week at our base at 72 Hartshill Road (on Wednesdays 11-2pm) where the group works together on growing and making projects! We also run an allotment just up the the road (plot 33) alongside the Wonder Women Group and our other project Stoke Growing Club.

The Social Agency
The Social Agency is a safe place for Autistic & Learning Disabled adults to come together & create.
Arts Factory workshops this time around focus on playing with clay.
The workshops run for 5 weeks and will finish with a lovely mini exhibition to showcase your work (This will happen in the 6th week).
We have a morning session 10am and an afternoon session at 2pm to choose from.
