Stoke Square Saturday Series
Monthly feel good Saturday events in Stoke on ‘the square’ between Stoke Library and Stoke Indoor Market
Stoke Square Saturday Series is a NEW series of monthly events open 11am-4pm…
Each month will be a little bit different as the aim of the project is to test what sort of offer works well in the space. Expect a mix of music, performance, creative workshops and demonstrations, site decoration and craft stalls.
Our first event on Saturday 19th October we held a mini Autumn Festival for our next one on Saturday 16th November our theme is DIY or DIE (a celebration of the handmade and crafted with a little bit of punk thrown in)
Got lots of ideas for what could happen on Stoke Square?
Want to help make it happen? There are lots of ways to get involved…
Join the Stoke Square Volunteer Group
We are putting together a volunteer group to help co-plan and run the events (expenses for travel and refreshments provided). There will be regular meetings (in Stoke) and research visits to how similar events run elsewhere, alongside practical sessions including creative workshops to make site-decor and, for those who want to, workshops around event planning and management (think risk assessments, budgets/fundraising etc)
