Paper Peace
A national arts and heritage programme that provided training and development opportunities for early-career producers in Stoke-on-Trent.
In 2019, B arts were part of Paper Peace, an 18-month national arts and heritage programme to commemorate 100 years of Peace created by Emergency Exit Arts. We were a national partner alongside CreativeScene (Dewsbury), Ideas Test (Medway), and Vivacity Peterborough Culture and Leisure.
The programme was full of excitement and here's a snapshot of what happened:
Paper Peace commenced with a 14ft high illuminated Peace Poem setting of on tour. The large scale mobile artwork, created with leading artist and poet Robert Montgomery, will be seen by thousands of people as it travels along motorways to cities across the UK.
Local archivists and museums shared their collections related to acts of peace
